The Young Republicans provide a unique opportunity for individuals 18-40 to develop their leadership skills, meet key public figures, impact elections and meet like-minded individuals at home and across the nation.
Whatever your interest level, the Young Republicans have a place for you to belong. As a Young Republican, you can:
- Make a difference in your community and your country
- Join deployments in other areas
- Meet people of like minds
- Learn about government, politics, and the people that influence change
- Meet important people from Mayors and Councilmembers to Senators and Presidents
- Learn what it takes to run for office yourself
- Make friends that last a lifetime
The requirements to join the Clark Fork Young Republicans are that you are a voter who is:
- At least 18 years of age but not over 40 years of age;
- A resident (temporary or permanent) of Missoula, Ravalli, and Mineral counties;
- Declare yourself a Republican and
- Attend three (3) regular or special meetings.
If you don’t meet those requirements you can still be an Honorary Member and shall have all the rights and privileges of active members except you can’t vote or hold office.
All members, Active or Honorary, are required to submit $10 in dues to the Treasurer at their third meeting.
