Bylaws of the Montana Republican Young Professionals

ARTICLE I.  AFFILIATION WITH THE YOUNG REPUBLICAN NATIONAL FEDERATION

The Montana Republican Young Professionals (MRYP) and any Republican Young Professionals club duly chartered by MRYP shall comply with all duties of the MRYP charter with the Young Republican National Federation (YNRF).  The MRYP shall pay such fees and obligations as required by membership in YRNF and shall send representatives to YRNF functions and official meetings.

ARTICLE II.  MEMBERSHIP

SECTION 1. CLUB MEMBERSHIP.  Criteria for membership in Republican Young Professionals clubs shall be determined by each individual club.  No member of a Republican Young Professionals club who is younger than age 18 or older than age 40 shall be considered a member of the MRYP.
SECTION 2. AT-LARGE MEMBERSHIP.  Any Republican between the ages of 18 and 40, inclusive, who lives in a Montana county without a chartered Republican Young Professionals club, may join the MRYP as an at-large member by completing an application approved by the Executive Committee and paying an annual fee of $25. Similarly, any Montana Republican voter living out of state, who meets the age requirements, may join as an at-large member by completing the application and paying an annual fee of $25.  By a two-thirds (2/3) vote, the Executive Committee may suspend or reinstate dues for at-large members.

ARTICLE III.  CLUBS

SECTION 1. Organization.  Chartered Republican Young Professionals clubs shall have a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and other such officers as each club deems necessary.  Each club shall provide the MRYP with the most recent version of its constitution and bylaws.

SECTION 2.  obligations.  Each chartered Republican Young Professionals club shall pay a membership fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) per year to the MRYP.  By a 2/3 vote, the steering committee may suspend or reinstate dues for clubs.

SECTION 3.  CHARTERING.  Charters shall be granted to any Republican Young Professionals club that applies to the Executive Committee, submits a roster of members in the format required by the Chairman, and pays its membership fee.  Charters shall be issued in a form drawn up by the Secretary and approved by the Executive Committee.  A charter may be revoked by the Executive Committee if a club fails to pay its membership fee, comply with other requirements of the MRYP Constitution or these Bylaws, or engages in activities not sanctioned by the MRYP.
